Questions regarding your account
-
Q: What does my username have to look like?
A: Your username can consist of any combination of letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), dashes (-) and underscores (_) as long as it's at least two characters long and does not start or end with a dash or underscore. So "moe", "bending-rodriguez" and "homer_j" are ok, "-7", "me_" and "x" are not.
-
Q: I have a problem signing up
A: After completing the sign up form, you will get an e-mail message with a link. Only after visiting that link you will be able to log in. We use that kind of e-mail verification to make sure your e-mail address is correct in case you ever forget your password and need instructions on how to reset it sent to your e-mail account.
-
Q: But I never got that link
A: First, please check your spamfilter whether the corresponding message has accidentally been blocked. If so, you can have it resent. If you still have problems, send an e-mail to crew at webisoder dot net so we can help you.
-
Q: I forgot my password. What can I do?
A: Use our password recovery service to reset it.
-
Q: But I don't remember my user name...
A: If you remember your e-mail address, you can use our user name recovery service to find out your user name.
-
Q: What's your privacy policy?
A: We won't give out your personal data (including your e-mail address) to anyone, unless forced so by a court order. Jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with the courts of Bern (Switzerland).
-
Q: What's the "Maximum age for episodes" option?
A: In order not to clutter your feeds up with old episodes, this setting allows you to define the maximum age of episodes you want to have included, that is, how many days in the past an episode may have been released to still be included in your listings.

Q: What's an iCalendar and how do I use it?
A: iCalendar is a standardized format for sharing calendars. Questions regarding our site
-
Q: Where do you have your data from?
A: Our data is coming from epguides.com and is parsed with episoder, a piece of open-source software.
-
Q: How often do you update your database?
The list of running shows is updated once a day, the list of episodes is updated every 15 minutes, starting when the first person subscribes to a particular show.
-
Q: I would like to subscribe to a show but it's not on the list
A: Either your show isn't currently running (see epguides.com's list of running shows) or it has been added to that list after our last update (see "How often do you update your database?").
-
Q: I just subscribed to a show but I don't see any episodes
If there are upcoming episodes for your show (verify on epguides.com by clicking the corresponding icon under My shows), you are most likely the first person to subscribe to that particular show (see "How often do you update your database?"). In that case, just be a little patient - your episodes should show up within the next 20 minutes. If they don't, please contact us by e-mail at crew at webisoder dot net.
-
Q: Can I add shows which are not on epguides.com?
A: Sorry, currently only shows from epguides.com are supported.
